Anger. Righteous anger. What a valid emotional response to the issue of sex trafficking! When we hear about the abuse and damage and coercion used in the sex trade, how can we help but become angry, even outraged, at the people who are causing so much hurt in the lives of young, innocent girls??
Approximately 1.2 million children a year are sold into the sex trade. Southeast Asia represents almost 1/3 of the global sex trade. That's a problem. Jesus said that he was sent to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and to release the oppressed. In Him there is healing and love. That's a solution. Three college kids with a couple of backpacks, a video camera, hands willing to help, and Jesus...hoping to help bridge the gap between the problem and the solution in Southeast Asia.
